Frequently Asked Questions
How can counseling help me?
Therapy can help when we have overwhelming emotions or destructive behaviors that affect our ability to engage successfully in daily life. People seek out therapy for a range of issues, but some common reasons for seeing a therapist include unhelpful repeating patterns, depression, anxiety, addiction and grief. Counseling can also help heal relationship problems, intimacy issues and family conflicts.
Recognizing the need for help is the first step in seeking therapy.
What is teletherapy?
Teletherapy counseling is mental health counseling that is conducted remotely, either over the phone or via a HIPPA compliant internet platform. It is also known as online therapy or virtual therapy. It is a convenient way to receive mental health services from the comfort of your own home, without having to travel to a therapist’s office. Research suggests that teletherapy can be just as effective as in-person counseling.
How can I contact you for counseling?
You can reach me by calling: (726) 610-5155

Do you accept insurance?
No, I do not use insurance panels. By using private-pay, rather than insurance, clients maintain greater confidentiality, are better able to choose their therapist based on need, and often benefit from a lower cost option for mental health care.
